Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. The last year of her tenure, she was a lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
